Bringing Hope
Hope Ministries has been bringing the hope of Jesus to India since 1979. We have established six children’s homes to care for 400 poor and needy children. Some of the children are orphans, but many children are received because their parents are unable to feed and educate them. Sponsorship provides nutritious meals, medical exams, education, housing, clothing and spiritual nurturing. We minister to these children in Christian love and turn their sad faces into bright smiles by introducing them to the Love of God.
Spiritual Blessing to the Child
The children will experience the pillars of daily devotions, prayer time and strong involvement in church. They will be surrounded with Christian worship and fellowship and will grow up in strong faith as they see God powerfully answering prayers.
Life at the Children’s Home
Morning starts with prayer and breakfast as the children get ready for school. The children return for lunch and have a vegetable dish such as yellow split peas and rice. After school, they have time for play and chores. A supper consists of rice and curries including vegetables, fish, eggs, and meat twice a week. After supper, children do homework for an hour and then have evening devotions, singing and prayer time before they go to bed.
