Vizag
Community Life Children’s Home was established in the suburbs of a large city called Vizag in 1987. It is surrounded by hills with the Bay of Bengal to the east. Most of the children who live in this home come from very poor and single parent families. We started this home away from the city where few people wanted to live but people moved to the area and built many homes. A church was established with new believers who came to know Jesus through the ministry of our children's home.
Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Paris, Pennsylvania had sponsored this home until 1991 when the church closed. After much prayer for sponsors, our paths crossed with Community Life Fellowship in Hanoverton, Ohio. They assumed the responsibility to support the children’s home that currently houses approximately 55 children. A much-needed addition was completed and dedicated in February of 2004. The first floor of the addition includes kitchen and dining areas and the second floor provides sleeping rooms for the children.
